Poland's 'blackaces93' takes down Sunday Million for $145,930
As PokerStars Blog's Jason Kirk told us last night, it was four years ago that Poland's 'blackaces93' last made a Sunday Million final table. He finished third back then after making a three-way deal, banking $170K. Despite that huge score, coming so close to the title and not getting it has got to sting.
Today that sting has finally gone. After a long-but-expected grind in the $215 Sunday Million (5,916 total entries made up of 4,803 unique and 1,113 re-entries), blackaces93 found himself back on that elusive final table stage, entering the finale with the chip lead. A few hours later and he'd gone two spots better than his previous run, taking the whole thing down after a heads-up chop and winning $145,930 for his valiant efforts.

Sunday Million: Four years later, blackaces93 cuts another deal and rockets to $159K victory
'swimmer25' from Belarus wins huge Micro Millions Half Price Sunday Storm for $27,130
While blackaces93 was able to take his $215 Sunday Million buy-in and win 679 times his investment, 'swimmer25' of Belarus entered the half-price Sunday Storm for just $5.50 (as part of the Micro Millions series) and ended the night with a win worth 4,932 times that.
This event got an incredible field of 56,644 players (43,927 unique entries and 12,717 re-entries), and after 12 hours and 19 minutes of play, swimmer25 had taken it down for $27,130 with no deal. That's pretty baller, we're sure you'll agree.
The Micro Millions series is still going for another week, building up to the $22 Main Event on Sunday July 29. That one comes with a $1M guaranteed prize pool and a guaranteed $100K+ for the winner!
